Utah

This last weekend we had the opportunity to go up to Utah for General Conference. It was so great. The weather was perfect. It was a wonderful experience to be inside the Conference Center along with the Prophet and other General Authorities. We stayed at the Allen's house. On Saturday after Conference we ate at the Lion House Pantry. It was really good. After Conference on Sunday we drove up to the Oquirrh Mountain and Draper temples. We got to see some snow up in Draper. :) The temples were beautiful.

David and Malia's new adventure

Darcine here! David and Malia left for Boston on Tuesday July 21st. David will be studying at Harvard Law for 3 years. What an adventure awaits them! We will sure miss having them around.

Clint

Darcine again! It has been so great having Clint home. He returned with honor July 15th from the Barcelona, Spain mission. He's registered for school. Now he just needs to find a job and an eternal companion. :)

California

Well I'm sad to say that summer is coming to an end. Queen Creek High School starts this Wednesday. :( But, I did get to go on a super fun vacation this summer! This last week me, Clint, and Ben and Lexi's family all went to California. We got five day hopper passes to Disneyland and California Adventure. It was SO much fun.

We ate at Johnny Rockets one afternoon.

Kami and Cooper loved the escalators. :) They made me and Clint take them like 5 times before we could leave. :)

We found out that Huntington Beach was only about 9 miles from our hotel!

Ben and Clint with the kids.
Cooper is SO attached to his dad. It's so cute. :)

Ben and Clint turned Kami into a mermaid. :)

4th of July

This year for the 4th of July we went up to the Taylor house. Gary and Lindsey's family went up too. It was lots of fun!

The fireworks are a big deal up in Taylor. They had an awesome show.
Grandma and Grandpa's neighboors had a new baby chick and Aubree and Nathan went to go see it.
They thought it was pretty cool.
Grandma and Grandpa put up a white picket fence in their front yard. It looks really pretty.

Great Grandma didn't have a five generation picture with Nathan yet so when they came over for dinner we got one. From left to right it's: Mom, Grandpa Jarvis, Great Grandma Jarvis, Gary, and Nathan.

Family Reunion

Two weekends ago we went up to White River for our Morris Family Reunion. It was lots of fun and we had some great times.
As usual I took lots of pictures. :) This is one of Ashley that I really liked.
This is a family picture I took for Gary and Lindsey up by the river.
This is Ozzie, Larry's dad, and Bubba, Larry's uncle.

Ben and his kids had lots of fun in the river.

It wouldn't be a Morris Reunion without some volleyball. This is Malia hitting the ball over the net.

New York City!!!

So I did the most awesome thing you could possibly think of doing this weekend. I went to New York City. I went on a choir trip with my school. It was the BEST trip EVER!
Random skyscapers. There were so many!

This is the NYC temple. It didn't have a visitor's center though. :(
They were filming a movie on a street we were walking on and we got to see the set and everything.

We went to Bryant Park. It was so pretty! It was especially beautiful compared to the rest of the dirty city around it. :)

This was in Central Park. It was awesome too. Nothing like it was in Enchanted though. :)

We didn't actually get to go into the Ed Sullivan Theater, which made me kind of sad. We got to stop and take pictures of it though!

This is the big piano inside FAO Schwartz. Anyone ever seen the movie Big? This is the piano Tom Hanks was playing in that movie. They actually sell them! If anyone feels the urge to spend $250,000 this is a good way to go. :)

This is the cathedral we sang in. This is SO not the best picture I have but me and all my technological skills can't seem to find a way to upload it. Anyways, this cathedral was amazing! We were invited to sing for their Catholic Mass and a concert after wards. It was really an awesome experience.

We went to The Lion King on Broadway. Where do I begin on this one??? It was truly amazing. AHHHH I don't know what to say about it so let's move on.
We took the Staten Island Ferry around the Statue of Liberty. This was the view. It was soooooooo cold though! That was the only time on the whole trip that I really felt it could never be this cold in Arizona.

$18.00 Toblerone. I was too excited for words when I saw this in the store.
Dreams really DO come true.

Haha alright. So as you can see, I saved the best for last. This was in a store at the airport. They call it a Barack-in-the-Box. I'm not really sure what to say about this one except WHAT THE HECK.

Pictures of Ashley

Ashley and I spent the day together yesterday. She consented to be my model. She's such a good sport. Here's a few of my favorite pictures we got.

This was one of Ashley's favorites.

For those of you who have read Twilight, she says this is her "vampire" face.

Yet Another Photo Shoot

I'm starting to think mom likes taking pictures. :) On Thursday, LaDawn came out with Aidan and Libby and we went and took pictures.
